The Four Basics Principles of CARP
The Four Basics Principles of CARP are the following:
- Place elements that are not related further apart and give them a different look and feel.
- Carefully plan the placement of elements on your page, the page layout and the alignment of text and graphics. Do not haphazardly throw elements anywhere on the page with no rhyme or reason.
- When elements such as type of alignment, sidebar, paragraph, heading, image layout, outline, etc. are used in one part of the site, then be consistent by using them throughout the all site pages.
- Place related elements close together and give them a similar look and feel.
